Farlows Cotton Safari Jacket

• Made from start to finish in England
• The fabric is marked and cut by hand in our cutting room, it is then made up into the garment by the tailors in our work room, both in England.
• 100% Cotton weighing 215g per metre

Both Safari Jackets are made in England from 100% cotton. The cotton we have selected weighs 215 grams per running metre, which makes it a fantastic lightweight and breathable cloth for the spring summer season in both the UK and abroad. We have utilised the same cotton across our Safari Collection, ensuring we have a full outfit range in the same Putty colour, along with additional colours in some other styles.

A great piece to take away on holiday, whether a UK or abroad trip. We have subtly designed this jacket with summer simulated game days and European warmer climate partridge shooting in mind, our Safari jackets have all the features required to be able to shoot effectively. Amongst other features listed below, it was vital to us that we had an ease of fit for added movement, and use of two bellows pockets that are suitable for cartridges, and two expanding inverted pleat breast pockets suitable for stowing away any smaller items. 

• A same cloth buggy lining across the shoulders with the rest of the jacket being fully unlined to ensure the jacket is as light as possible
• Real horn buttons
• Hidden front buttons
• Internal draw string for fit adjustment, which ensures a plain and simple back of the garment
• Working shirt cuff for extra movement and functionality
• Two bellows lower pockets with button flap, suitable for cartridges
• Two inverted pleat external breast pocket with button flap
• Two internal breast pockets
• Shirt style collar, that can be worn down for a slightly more formal look, or worn up for informal style or protection for the sun
• Set in sleeve construction
• Please note the measurements are ‘Chest measurement is armpit to armpit. Back Length from neck seam to base’ and the ‘Sleeve length from centre neck to cuff end.’ These are all made to within half an inch of tolerance.
