The Farlows Belgrave Biker Jacket is new within our ladieswear collection. It’s based on a biker style of jacket, with it’s corduroy lined high collar, luxurious satin lining and belted waist, it really feels like the luxurious country chic coat that it is. It has large cartridge pockets which makes it possible for the wearer to shoot in it. We use only the finest Loden milled out of Austria by one of the oldest Loden mills in existence. It has all the key features you would expect from a ladies shooting coat.
Sizes Available: 8 – 16
Please note sizing is to fit chest size. The coat is designed to fit slightly larger to allow for layering underneath.
THE PERFORMANCE FABRIC
- Premium Merino / Alpaca 80:20 mix Austrian milled loden for optimum warmth, comfort and durability, and a luxurious and unique look
- Fabric then sent to Northamptonshire, England, to our master coatmakers, with over 40 years’ experience. Marked, cut, sewn by hand
- Rigorous quality control inspection by people not machines
The Cotswold Loden really screams ladies luxury fieldwear. We use only the finest Loden milled out of Austria by one of the oldest Loden mills in existence.
This quality of Loden is produced with a brushed finish, using a method that raises and then brushes the fibres of the fabric once it is milled, which gives the fabric an incredibly hardwearing finish which also gives it excellent natural water repellency.
This lovely fabric works hand in hand with our waterproof membrane to make a very technical fieldcoat. It has all the key features you would expect from a ladies shooting coat.
- Our Loden is the finest that comes out of Austria. Milled by Leichtfried, they are one of the oldest producers of Loden there is.
- Weighing 540g per running metre it’s a robust yet incredibly wearable tweed.
- Comprising of 80% Merino wool and 20% Alpaca to give a soft handle and brilliant drape
- Alcantara lined cuffs and pocket entry for maximum durability
- Hard wearing metal double zip
- Fleece lined hand warmer pockets
- Large bellows military styled cartridge pockets
- High strength cotton used across garment (buttons and stitching)
- Woollen storm cuff for weather protection
- Full raglan sleeve for style and maximum movement
- Main zip storm flap for extra weather protection
- Lightweight military twill lining for luxurious feel and ease when putting on / removing coat
