Farlows Thornham Super Dry Wax Shooting Coat

THE PERFORMANCE FABRIC:

• Super dry waxed premium tough cotton, milled by Halley Stevensons in Dundee, Scotland
• Cotton yarns impregnated with dry wax, giving the same weather protection and durability as traditional wax, but making it lighter and with no wax residue
• Fabric then sent to Northamptonshire, England, to our master coatmakers, with over 40 years’ experience. Marked, cut, sewn by hand.
• Rigorous quality control inspection by people not machines

This men’s shooting coat is produced in our Super Dry Wax cotton fabric, for maximum protection against the elements. Our olive Super Dry Wax cotton does what it says on the tin. It’s a fully waxed cotton, however its dry to the touch. The cotton fibres are impregnated with wax, so it won’t ever need to be re-applied like in old times.

• Super Dry Wax Cotton in khaki, to keep you dry in even the foulest weather
• The fabric is known as ‘Super Dry Wax’ as the cotton yarns are impregnated with wax, leaving no residue so the fabric is dry to the touch yet performs just as well as the more traditional waxed cotton
• Finished with a soft cotton lining along with our signature military twill sleeve lining for ease to get on and off
• Heavy duty, two-way zip.
• Full corduroy backed collar that can be worn up or turned down, including storm flap
• Two large cartridge pockets capable of holding enough cartridges for a busy drive
• Button storm cuff down the main zip for added protection
• Button shirt sleeve cuff which has 2 tightness adjustments
• Internal small game pocket
• Reverse welt, fleece lined hand warmer pockets
